How to book a court on Clubspark

In 2021, we moved all court reservations online and linked these to our new automatic gate entry system.  This applies to the squash&tennis courts.  If you wish to simply gain access to the club, you can also book the table tennis facility.  All of these routes will generate a unique code which gives you access to the main external gate.  This code is live 10 mins in advance and throughout your booking.  It does not give you access outside this window.  If you require access to the clubhouse itself, the existing communicated code remains in place.

How to book?

1.       Sign into your Clubspark account either online or using the ClubSpark Booker App

2.       Select the date, time and court for your booking

3.       Confirm the contact the booking relates to – normally‘Me’if for yourself.  If not for you, type in the member’s name, ensuringthe email confirmation box is ticked.

4.       You will then see a page confirming your booking and your unique code.  In addition, you will receive an email confirmation/text with the PIN code to access the external gate.  This pin is unique to you and will be the same each booking.  You may share with playing partners if this facilitates access for a shared booked.

5.       If your plans change, or the weather prevents play, we encourage all members to cancel their reservations to free up the court.  This is easy to do by going into your booking on ClubSparkand selecting ‘cancel’.

6.       For ease, we recommend members download the ClubSpark Booker App which gives you access to ClubSpark on a mobile App.  It can also help if you need to make a quick 30 min booking to access the club unexpectedly.

7.       For repeat pre-booked ladies, gents and Over 55 social tennis, there is a fixed separate code which should have been communicated to you already.  If you do not know this, please contact Scott McMillan or Jeremy Speirs for details.

8.       The tennis lights will come on automatically with bookings in hours of darkness. If for any reason you are unable to make your evening booking, please cancel your reservation as the lights will come on regardless, wasting energy and causing unnecessary light pollution for our neighbours.  If there are any problems with the lights coming on, there is a manual override facility inside the clubhouse door.  Select the court you are playing on, and the amount of time you need the lights operational.

If you experience any issues with making a booking or access, please contact a member of the committee.  We also have a 24-hour helpline available through our gate provider, CIA, if we are unable to resolve the issue ourselves.
