Prelimnary Round Information:

There are 24 men and 17 ladies that have entered the mixed doubles competition

8 pairs have been drawn for the preliminary round and the losing men in this round will be eliminated from the competition.

7 out of the 8 losing ladies from the preliminary round will re-enter the competition in the 1st round proper. Gill Nunn receives a bye into the 1st round proper and will play with Gordon Bruce. After the preliminary round we will have 16 pairs in the first round proper and the competition will proceed as normal from there. Sorry it’s a little bit complex but it’s the only way to ensure everyone who entered gets to play at least one match!
