Tennis:  Girls Under 12 Team

Stirling Girls U12 draw against Linlithgow to fight again another day!  

The girls continued their strong start to the season with a hard fought draw against strong opposition, Linlithgow. After their taste of victory against Dunblane the previous week, the team fought hard to secure a draw. Particular mention should go to Hannah Worsley and Molly Illingworth for convincingly winning their singles matches and for combining forces in the doubles to secure a win and an overall match draw. Heather Lemmon and Kathryn Evans both played some strong tennis and look forward to next weeks return match against Dunblane.

Stirling girls U12 team enjoyed a well earned win over local rivals Dunblane on Saturday 5th May. Playing were: Kathryn Evans, Heather Lemmon, Hannah Worsley and Molly Illingworth. Special mention should go to Molly Illingworth for her first win on the tennis courts, Hannah Worsley for some striking forehands, and to Kathryn and Heather for coming from 3-0 down to securing the match via a nailbiting, tie break doubles match at the finish. Well done to all the players!
