Anyone for Tennis, Squash or Racketball?

Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club has been in existence for 124 years, making it one of the oldest clubs in Scotland..

We have an enthusiastic and active membership and we offer both members and guests a warm welcome in the use of our excellent facilities.

The Clubhouse is open from 8am to 10pm 362 days a year and has two heated squash courts, two lounges, a small exercise area, table tennis, male and female changing facilities with showers.

The club notice board keeps members up to date with activities within the club.    Lights for the squash courts and floodlights operate via a meter which costs £1 for 30 minutes, there is no fee for booking courts.

In addition to regular club nights, The Tennis Club runs various competitions throughout the season, which include Gents and Ladies singles, Gents, Ladies and mixed doubles as well as Junior competitions.

We also have Gents, Ladies and Junior teams playing in the district leagues and there is coaching available.

We also organise social functions throughout the year e.g. quiz nights and an annual prize-giving dinner.  New members are always very welcome to come along to the club.

    NEW! Tennis Coaching for 2012

The Club has decided to make a change to the tennis coaching arrangements in 2012. Adam Brown will be looking after the tennis coaching at the club this year.

Adam is the District Coach for Tennis Central Scotland and looks after the best young players in the region in terms of coaching squads as well as organising competitions within the Central District. We are very fortunate to have someone of Adam's ability and experience involved with our club and are therefore very excited about this new partnership. Adam has access to some of the best young coaches in the District so you can be assured that high quality coaching will be delivered under this new partnership. Adam will not be spending much time on court delivering coaching at the club himself given his District commitments but he will be organising all the coaching classes and overseeing the development of our junior players. Details of the classes, how to apply etc. will be issued by Adam in February so watch this space (club members and those who attended the previous coaching block will get the details by email).
